Hi Mary-Anne

You're right, there isn't many american or english speaking people on these forums, it's a pitty, the multiculturalism is a good thing, but it means that delcampe.com is not known enough in the english-speaking community. ( although it is listed in the first places on stamps portals in the Us) Its our duty to inform foreign collectors to come here, i do it every time i met a comrade on the web. Unfortunatly, Shakespeare langage is not my mother tongue, but i appreciate the exchange of ideas, and to do some great deals with other passionated in coins, militaria, etc...well hope there's more people here in the future.

Best regards!!

;)

Hi there Anubis,

How kind of you to answer my call for english speaking correspondants .
Your english is really exellent. As I have a French husband and french friends, I have few occasions to speak, and less to write, in english. I think it would be a good idea for all our bilingual members to come and chat here once in a while. It does a lot of good to think in an other language than the one we use regularly. I collect faience plates and objects. (barbotines) and piggy banks before 1940.
Thankyou for your message.

Good morning,
I'm thrilled to find some new english speaking neighbors. I don't have a lot of time to visit bourses as I have a store in Sully that requires my full attention.
I taught school also in Boston for 11 years. When I arrived in France, I changed my professionnel cursus and worked at the US Embassy in Patis and now "antique dealer"!!! A little variety never hurt anyone.
Have a good day and thankyou for the little "english pause".
My french is almost acceptable too.

I never realised how many of you can write English so well. I doubt that if I tried the same thing on ebay USA I would have so many responses. Just one word. BRAVO. I always knew that europeans had more culture than my compatriots. You all contribute to reinforce my decision to live in europe. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Hi there Frenchfroggy,

If you're still encline to speak english, no problem at all, english is my mother tong, even I never went in school in the UK, I also try to practice when ever I can to improve my writting.

I don't think the problem is that they're not enouth anglo-saxon people on this forum, I just think they're too shy to come out & speak.

We also are starting to feel that on the french forum too!

I'm starting to think we should tell around us: that within this year, the one who leaves the most frequent messages on the forum could win a prize, we'd see the effects quite quickly I guess!

Cheers from a geordie friend!
