The images are  free of copyright.

The images,arranged chronologically, show people and events in Palestine and Jordan between 1917 and 1926, concentrating on World War I, the British capture and occupation of Jerusalem, and the early British Mandate period.

The images are all .jpgs(each approx 120 -160 kbs) and will open in any image viewing program.
